🎯 Purpose of the Role

To strengthen Nigeria’s Polio Outbreak Response through expert management of social and behavioral data, supporting outbreak preparedness, analysis of misinformation, vaccine perceptions, campaign performance, and integration of gender and digital engagement strategies.


🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Build capacity of national/state teams in data analysis, gender assessment, and misinformation tracking.

  • Design tools and dashboards for managing SBC data, including digital platforms for monitoring misinformation.

  • Support pre-, during-, and post-campaign data analysis across priority states (e.g., Kano, Katsina, Kebbi).

  • Document lessons learned and contribute to real-time analysis reports and campaign evaluations.

  • Collaborate with National EOC, ACSM Working Group, and state teams to ensure effective implementation and reporting.


🎓 Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health, or Social Sciences.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in data analytics, information management, statistics, or M&E, preferably in public health.

  • Tools & Skills:

    • Mandatory: ODK, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS)

    • Preferred: Python, Kibana, Tableau/Power BI, mapping tools, experience with emergency/public health responses

  • Language: Fluency in English (additional UN languages/local language is a plus).
