Overview

The Retail Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the creation and execution of localized marketing events aligned with store-specific strategies. Acting as the primary contact for in-store events across the network, this position is highly operational, managing event activations, co-operations, sponsorships, CRM efforts, and client development initiatives.

Reporting directly to the CMO, the Retail Marketing Manager collaborates closely with Retail and Merchandising teams to align strategic priorities. The role requires adapting central marketing strategies to meet local market needs, executing events, overseeing budgets, and fostering customer relationships. A strong presence in stores is necessary to work alongside store management in developing and executing innovative activations and event concepts that drive new customer acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

Event Support for Store Network – Creation, Planning & Management

Local Adaptation of HQ Strategies – Execute and tailor headquarters (HQ) marketing strategies to fit local market conditions while ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
Event Creation – Develop innovative event concepts customized for different brands, markets, and target audiences. Collaborate with store management to leverage local networks, venues, and audience preferences.
Local Event Organization – Plan, coordinate, and manage local events to enhance brand visibility, attract customers, and adhere to brand guidelines.

Budget Management

✔ Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources.
✔ Monitor expenses and adjust budgets as needed to maximize ROI.

Vendor & Partner Management (in alignment with store management)

✔ Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and local partners to enhance event execution.
✔ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure quality and efficiency.

CRM – Customer Engagement & Insights

✔ Leverage customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track and analyze customer engagement from marketing activities.
✔ Develop personalized marketing strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

✔ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities.
✔ Prepare detailed reports on event performance, customer engagement, and ROI.

Collaboration & Communication

✔ Work closely with retail store teams, regional marketing managers, and headquarters to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
✔ Facilitate effective internal communication to align all stakeholders.
